It has suddenly dawned on me, I’ve been writing this blog for over 9 years now and as the 10th Anniversary of this online ramble hurtles towards me I ought to do an update as so much has changed in that time and some things haven’t actually changed but I am now in a position to be able to talk more freely about them.
I am still a daughter, a sister, a mother and a wife, I am still short, a little rotund, I like to call it voluptuous, my hair is wild and reddish brown, although now there are some cheeky sparkles of grey starting to appear. I am and always will be of dubious heritage, being predominantly of Irish/Spanish extraction, this genetic mix means that I am, as I have previously said, a bit temperamental, my friends say, mad as a box of frogs. I’ve found my place in the world career wise, and now work part time teaching adults with complex learning needs, and I am still an aspiring author.
I am still a reader of Tarot and other divination techniques and offer tuition to interested parties. I will also do readings on a professional level if asked. I trained for over 5 years as a Ritual Magician and still find deep worth in High Magick and Ceremony. I am an Initiated Wiccan in both the Alexandrian and Gardnerian Traditions, however the Coven I run in Cheshire is purely Gardnerian. I have an overwhelming love of Druidry not so unusual really considering the connection with Ross Nicholls and Gerald Gardner. I am currently an Ovate in OBOD. I am also deeply honoured to be an Awenydd of the Anglesey Druid Order. An awe inspiring family of individuals all expressing their Awen in their own unique ways. If you can’t find me, chances are I am up to some form of Druidic shenanigans somewhere on Yns Mon.
I draw, paint, knit, crochet, spin and weave; I am an amateur photographer but sadly I no longer participate in excessive exercise thanks to my celtic genes and early onset arthritis; I play the Ukulele badly, but most of all I am an eternal student of the Occult with a deep desire to keep asking questions and a heart felt need to help others find the answers to their own primal cry of “Why?”
If you would like to know more about me and the teaching I can facilitate, or would like to know more about my writing, I welcome enquiries and well thought out discussion and I can be contacted here.
